Job summary

Beechwood Mazda Derby is offering an Apprenticeship as a Service Advisor Apprentice – Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner. The role combines paid employment with IMI-Approved Level 2 training, fully integrating service coordination and customer support.

You will work alongside experienced advisers, gaining skills in vehicle service communication, front-desk duties, and parts coordination within a Derby dealership environment.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English at grade A–C / 9–4 are required or predicted grades accepted.
• Aged 16+ with strong interest in vehicle service and customer support.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to follow instructions and learn from colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in scheduling service appointments and enquiries.
• Greet customers professionally to ensure a positive service experience.
• Liaise between customers and service technicians on vehicle concerns and estimates.
• Interpret maintenance schedules and repair estimates to provide recommendations.
• Coordinate with parts departments to ensure availability of components.
• Keep customers updated on service progress and any additional work.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and strive for resolutions.
• Input service orders and maintain customer records using computer systems.
• Attend training sessions to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills.
