Group 1 Automotive in Worthing is seeking a Sales Executive to deliver outstanding, trusted experiences for customers and to drive successful vehicle sales across multiple brands. The role offers uncapped earnings with a £24,000 base salary and progression across sites and brands.

You will guide customers through the journey from welcome to handover, prospect for new customers by phone, and maintain a rich product knowledge base through manufacturer-led training.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a sales or customer service role, demonstrating the ability to achieve targets and build relationships
• Ability to deliver first-class customer service with energy and enthusiasm
• A genuine interest in helping customers and contributing to the team’s success
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines, with excellent attention to detail
• Exceptional listening and communication skills, focused on understanding customer needs
• Must hold a valid UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Guide customers through a seamless journey, from the initial welcome to negotiation and the handover of their purchased vehicle
• Actively prospect for new customers via telephone, attend product launches and events, and maintain a comprehensive enquiry database
• Maintain in-depth product knowledge and continuously enhance expertise through manufacturer-led training sessions
• Recommend suitable add‑on products that align with customer needs and preferences
• Ensure the effective use of customer enquiry management systems for optimal tracking and follow‑up
• Deliver outstanding customer service that fosters loyalty and encourages referrals
