Group 1 Automotive is seeking a Sales Executive for the Volkswagen Chester site. You’ll guide customers from welcome through negotiation to handover of their vehicle, while actively prospecting new customers and maintaining an enquiry database.

You’ll build deep product knowledge through manufacturer training, recommend add-ons, and use CRM effectively. Excellent English communication and a valid UK driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a sales or customer service role, with targets to meet.
• Ability to deliver first-class customer service with energy and enthusiasm.
• A genuine interest in helping customers and contributing to the team’s success.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and attention to detail.
• Exceptional listening and communication skills, focused on understanding customer needs.
• Must hold a valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers through a seamless journey, from the initial welcome to negotiation and handover of their vehicle.
• Actively prospect for new customers via telephone, attend product launches and events, and maintain a comprehensive enquiry database.
• Maintain in-depth product knowledge and continuously enhance expertise through manufacturer-led training sessions.
• Recommend suitable add-on products that align with customer needs and preferences.
• Ensure the effective use of customer enquiry management systems for optimal tracking and follow-up.
• Deliver outstanding customer service that fosters loyalty and encourages referrals.
