Job summary

G&P Quality Management Limited is seeking an Automotive Quality Team Leader to join our on-site Quality Management team in Woking. You will lead a small team of 5-10 Inspectors and drive quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across the site.

The role emphasizes hands-on quality control, writing and maintaining Work Instructions, SOPs and Test Plans, along with coordinating inspections and audits. Shift pattern is 06:00–14:00, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or team leadership experience within an automotive manufacturing environment, or a comparable high-volume engineering/manufacturing sector.
• Experience writing Work Instructions, SOPs, Test Plans, or similar documentation.
• Experience investigating quality issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Experience managing teams in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Knowledge of layered audits and process compliance.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Good Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

We are seeking an Automotive Quality Team Leader to join our dedicated Quality Management team at G&P. This role supports a prestigious British high-performance automotive manufacturer and is based on-site in Woking.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will lead a team of 5-10 Inspectors while supporting quality activities across the site. This is a hands-on role, with a strong focus on writing and maintaining Work Instructions/SOPs/WES's/Test Plans, alongside driving quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Working hours: Monday - Friday: 06:00am - 14:00pm

Flexibility may occasionally be required to support overtime at the end of shifts.
