Zusammenfassung

ASC Connections is expanding its automotive manufacturing facility in the United Kingdom and seeking a Quality Engineer to join the team. You will work closely with customers to resolve quality concerns, support new product introductions, and help shape quality standards in a growing site with automated equipment.

You will manage customer complaints, lead 8D investigations, and drive containment actions while collaborating with Production and Engineering to improve overall quality and compliance

Qualifikationen

• Experience in a quality engineer role within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience dealing directly with customers, managing quality complaints and providing updates through to resolution.
• Experience leading 8D investigations, coordinating containment and implementing corrective actions.
• Strong communication skills to build relationships with customers and production/engineering teams.

A Quality Engineer opportunity has become available with an established automotive manufacturer investing in the expansion of an existing manufacturing site and new automated production equipment. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with customers, resolve quality concerns, support new product introduction and help shape quality standards within a growing manufacturing environment.

Quality Engineer responsibilities

• Acting as a key contact for customer quality matters, building effective relationships and ensuring customer requirements are understood and met.
• Managing customer complaints, coordinating containment activities and leading 8D investigations to identify root causes, implement corrective actions and prevent recurrence.
• Keeping customers updated on investigations and corrective actions, ensuring responses are accurate and completed within agreed timescales.
• Working with Production and Engineering to reduce scrap and rework, improve manufacturing quality and support staff in following quality processes.
• Supporting internal and customer audits, monitoring quality performance and maintaining Quality Management System compliance.

Quality Engineer desirable skills and experience

• Previous experience working within a Quality Engineer position in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience dealing directly with customers, managing quality complaints and providing clear updates through to resolution.
• Experience leading 8D investigations, coordinating containment and implementing effective corrective actions.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with customers and across Production and Engineering.
