Job summary

TPS is seeking a Parts Sales Executive in Glasgow to work with the Sales Manager and team to deliver the Centre’s sales plan. You will identify parts, respond to customer needs and drive revenue growth through targeted promotions and proactive customer engagement.

You will build strong relationships, maintain up-to-date product knowledge, and provide excellent service, including timely communication on order and credit status, to support overall TPS performance.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a B2B environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
• Customer service mindset with focus on delivering high service levels.
• Detail-oriented with accurate record-keeping and process discipline.
• Passion for the automotive industry and knowledge of parts sales.

Responsibilities

• Achieve personal KPI’s and revenue objectives with target customers.
• Accurately identify parts to meet customer sales requirements.
• Utilise product promotions to meet targets.
• Identify and leverage opportunities within the customer base.
• Maintain product knowledge and monitor competitor activity.
• Build strong relationships with customers through regular contact and visits.
• Provide high levels of service, respond to requests, progress orders and give expert advice.
• Communicate credit status to customers promptly.
• Support TPS Centre team to deliver excellent customer service.
• Collaborate with Sales Manager to reach sales targets.
• Handle incoming calls and customer enquiries within KPI guidelines.
• Use systems to search and order parts accurately.
• Complete documentation promptly; process cash and card transactions per guidelines.
