Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking a Parts Advisor for a well-established car dealership in the UK. You will supply parts to both workshop and retail customers, identify and source parts, and manage stock efficiently to support service and sales teams.

The role requires about two years in a parts environment, good customer service, and familiarity with stock systems (Pinnacle preferred). A full driving licence is essential, with a competitive salary and benefits package on offer.

Qualifications

• Approx. 2 years of experience as a Parts Advisor.
• Experience working within a motor trade Parts Department, ideally within a dealership environment.
• Strong customer service skills and a professional approach.
• Background in using computerised parts and stock management systems; ideally Pinnacle.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities to increase parts sales.
• GCSE or equivalent qualification.
• A full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Supplying parts to workshop and retail customers.
• Identifying, sourcing and ordering the correct parts.
• Checking availability, costs and expected delivery times.
• Monitoring stock levels and completing regular stock checks.
• Receiving, checking and storing delivered parts correctly.
• Processing invoices and maintaining accurate records.
• Working closely with Service and Sales teams.
• Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers.
• Handling customer enquiries professionally by telephone and face-to-face.
• Maintaining an organised and efficient Parts Department.
