Job summary

Uxbridge Employment Agency is seeking a Business Development Manager in the Slough area with a strong automotive background and direct OEM experience. The role focuses on consultative B2B sales, developing new opportunities and growing key accounts within automotive OEMs, while managing the full sales cycle.

You will negotiate terms, deliver compelling commercial proposals and build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across functions.

Qualifications

• Experience in consultative B2B sales.
• Direct OEM or vehicle-manufacturer experience.
• Ability to win new business and grow existing accounts.
• Strong negotiation, presentation and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the automotive market.
• Build relationships with prospective OEM and vehicle-manufacturer customers.
• Manage opportunities through the full sales process from initial contact to closing.
• Develop existing customer accounts and identify revenue opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver customer presentations and commercial proposals.
• Negotiate terms and support opportunities through to completion.
• Maintain relationships with key stakeholders across functions.
• Provide regular commercial updates to management.
