Job summary
McLaren Automotive seeks an experienced Manufacturing Programme & Launch Manager to lead manufacturing delivery across a major vehicle programme, guiding governance, decisions, and readiness from concept to Series Production. You will align cost, timing, quality, and resources while providing senior cross-functional leadership.
You will own the strategy, risk management, and escalation processes, ensuring decisive action and transparent reporting to protect programme objectives and business
Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of Manufacturing activities and launch readiness across a major vehicle programme.
- Set the Manufacturing programme strategy, priorities and integrated delivery plan.
- Own the Manufacturing programme status, decision and escalation process.
- Be the senior Manufacturing voice in governance forums and cross-functional meetings.
- Chair Launch Readiness Review and OK to Load reviews with evidence-based decisions.
- Oversee change control and assess impact on launch readiness.
- Ensure Gateway and OK to Load criteria are achieved and risks escalated.
- Be accountable for launch planning and execution from definition to Series Production.
- Develop governance standards and repeatable ways of working across Manufacturing.
- Provide leadership to Programme Leads and senior functional reps.
