Cummins Inc. in Cwmbran, Wales, UK is seeking a Student Engineer for a 12-month placement starting Summer 2027. The role is onsite and requires relocation or travel to the site.

You will work under experienced engineers on live projects, gaining hands-on experience and exposure to detailed design, testing, and simulation techniques. An individual project will develop your skills for future career progression.

Competenze

• Currently studying for an accredited engineering degree, preferably Mechanical Engineering or transferable.
• Adaptability to working in a changing environment.
• Capable of independent working and team work as required.

Mansioni

• Gain hands-on experience by working on live projects under the supervision of an experienced Engineer, ensuring real-world exposure.
• Involve in various aspects of a typical Engineering role, including the detailed design of components to industry standards.
• Participate in creating construction or tolerance layouts, and conduct thorough testing of physical components for performance and reliability.
• Acquire knowledge about simulation techniques and software used in engineering projects to predict and enhance performance.
