Job summary

Paul Rigby Ltd in Stourbridge is seeking a Call Centre Operative to handle inbound and outbound customer contacts, provide accurate information, and progress enquiries to resolution while maintaining high service standards.

You will be the first point of contact for customers, supporting operational teams in the Automotive & Driving sector and helping resolve enquiries quickly and professionally. The role is part-time with a permanent contract.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a customer service or call-centre environment.
• Clear spoken English and the ability to communicate professionally on the telephone.
• Good listening skills, patience and a problem-solving approach.
• Basic computer literacy and comfort using CRM or telephony systems to record customer interactions.
• Reliability, punctuality and the ability to work the agreed part-time pattern.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and respond to customer enquiries in a clear, courteous manner.
• Make outbound calls as required for follow-ups, appointments or information requests.
• Record customer interactions and update systems accurately and promptly.
• Identify and elevate complex or sensitive issues to the appropriate team or manager.
• Work to agreed performance targets for call handling, quality and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with colleagues across teams to share information and improve customer outcomes.
