Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an Automation Test Engineer to join the Quality Engineering and Test Practice in a hybrid role across UK offices, client sites, and home. You will design automation strategies, implement frameworks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and speed.

The role requires hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Playwright or Tosca, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines. ISTQB certification or willingness to obtain it is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in creating effective automation test strategies and plans.
• Experience in test automation using at least two tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, or Tosca.
• Experience creating or adapting automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with an OOP language (Java, Python, C#).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• ISTQB Foundation or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers, testers, analysts and architects across the organisation.
• Create and maintain automated test assets and scripts.
• Participate in Agile/DevOps work practices and CI/CD integration.
