Job summary

Capgemini Invent in the United Kingdom is seeking Automation Assurance Specialists to ensure reliability and quality of client solutions. You will design and maintain robust automation test suites and integrate them into continuous integration pipelines across Java/JavaScript stacks.

You will work in cross‑functional teams on diverse projects, applying Exploratory, functional, and security testing, and you will mentor colleagues while learning new technologies and contributing to innovation.

Qualifications

• ISTQB Foundation or equivalent qualifications.
• Experience with core testing techniques: Exploratory, Integration, Manual, Functional.
• Experience setting up test frameworks in Java or JavaScript.
• Experience writing backend and frontend automated tests with Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber, REST.
• Experience in an Agile environment.
• Experience with version control tools: GitHub or GitLab.
• Ability to self-manage and identify areas for improvement.

Responsibilities

• Undertake cross-functional engineering projects in small teams.
• Create and maintain Automation test suites and CI integration.
• Collaborate with engineers and design to assure delivery confidence.
• Share knowledge, coach colleagues, and mentor team members.
• Contribute to process improvement and introduce new technologies.
• Work with clients and internal teams on opportunities and initiatives.
