Job summary

Capgemini Invent in the UK seeks Automation Assurance Specialists to ensure reliability and quality of technical solutions across projects. You’ll design and run tests across Accessibility, Performance, Security, and Functional validation, building robust automation suites integrated into CI pipelines.

You will work with technologies such as NodeJS, Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, RESTful microservices, NoSQL databases, gaining exposure to diverse projects in a collaborative, innovative environment

Qualifications

• ISTQB Foundation or equivalent qualification required.
• Experience with core testing techniques: Exploratory, Integration, Manual, Functional.
• Experience setting up test frameworks in Java or JavaScript.
• Experience writing backend and frontend automated tests using Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber, REST.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Experience using online version control tools - GitHub, GitLab, etc.
• Ability to self-manage and identify areas for improvement.

Responsibilities

• Undertake cross-functional engineering projects in small teams to build reliable services.
• Collaborate within Capgemini Invent’s engineering community to deliver and develop professionally.
• Take responsibility for assuring confidence in technical delivery with other engineers and design team.
• Continuously improve team processes, practices, tools, and techniques.
• Share knowledge and coach colleagues while experimenting with new technologies.
