Job summary

Actemium Automation is seeking an Automation Support Engineer to deliver UK-wide PLC/HMI/SCADA support. You will troubleshoot, modify and optimize control systems to keep client operations running smoothly.

In addition to hands-on PLC work, you will participate in on-call rotations and collaborate with customers to implement system changes, with emphasis on reliability, safety, and service quality across the UK.

Qualifications

• Hands-on PLC programming and fault finding experience.
• Experience across multiple PLC/HMI/SCADA brands.
• Methodical problem solving with client-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver automation support across the UK to keep PLC, HMI, SCADA and networks running.
• Troubleshoot issues and resolve root causes during breakdowns and installations.
• Collaborate with clients to define and implement system changes.
• Regular health checks of PLC, HMI, SCADA and network systems.
• Provide remote and on-site support; participate in on-call rota.
