Job summary

Mercury Hampton Ltd in Northern Ireland is seeking a skilled Service Engineer to join our field service team. You will fault find, service and repair vertical lift and carousel systems across NI, with some travel into Ireland, offering autonomy and exposure to cutting-edge automation technology.

We require NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent), strong electrical/mechanical fault-finding abilities, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
Knowledge of mechanical and electrical fault finding – ideally with similar equipment.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Northern Ireland.
Excellent communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

Perform fault finding, servicing, maintenance and repairs on vertical lift and carousel systems.
Respond to breakdowns and callouts, ensuring fast and effective resolution.
Provide technical support and training to customers.
Maintain accurate service documentation and reports.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
