Job summary

Mercury Hampton Ltd is seeking a technically skilled Service Engineer to join the Northern Ireland Field Service Team, primarily covering the South of Northern Ireland with occasional travel into Ireland. Autonomy and exposure to cutting‑edge automation tech are offered, with on-site training and incremental salary progression.

The role requires an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering, strong fault finding, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform fault finding, servicing, maintenance and repairs on vertical lift and carousel systems.
• Respond to breakdowns and callouts, ensuring fast and effective resolution.
• Provide technical support and training to customers.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
