Job summary

E3 Recruitment seeks an Automation Process Improvement Engineer to join a days-based role, Monday to Friday, in the Hinckley/Coalville area. You will use your engineering experience to identify improvements across machinery, equipment, and manufacturing lines while benefiting from a company car and a generous bonus.

Qualifications

• Experience as Maintenance Engineer in electrical or mechanical fields.

Responsibilities

• Travel across the region to support group manufacturing sites.
• Provide hands-on technical support to drive plant operational improvement.
• Support Reliability Centred Maintenance strategy with criticality assessments.
• Enhance plant reliability using modern maintenance strategies.
• Assist with new process automation initiatives.

This Automation Process Improvement Engineer position is days based Monday-Friday, company car, 55,000 plus 18% bonus, and offers training and career development with an international market leader in their field. Within the position you will be provided with the opportunity to utilise your engineering experience and knowledge to identify and improve machinery, equipment and manufacturing lines.

Key Responsibilities of Automation Process Improvement Engineer

• Travel across the region to provide support to each of the group's manufacturing sites.
• Provide 'hands-on' technical support and expertise and drive Plant Operational Improvement as part of the Group Engineering function.
• Support the development of the Reliability Centred Maintenance Strategy by supporting criticality assessments and drive towards condition-based monitoring
• Enhance plant reliability by applying modern maintenance strategies and continuous improvement techniques.
• Support new and innovative process automation initiatives.

I would love to speak to anyone who has any of the following

• Previous experience as Maintenance Engineer from either an electrical or mechanical background
• Automation, Programming, PLC Controls
• A Electrical Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3 Engineering or City & Guilds Level 3, BTEC Level 3 in Engineering or equivalent Naric / Enic Conversion
• Ability to trouble shoot & repair manufacturing plant equipment & machinery
• Previous experience within Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance within industrial manufacturing plant environments
