Job summary

Pioneer Selection is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a state‑of‑the‑art, fully automated factory in Coalville. The role offers a path to both technical and managerial progression in a fast‑paced industrial environment.

You will perform electrical and mechanical maintenance, modify PLCs, and handle planned and breakdown maintenance across automated production lines with 4‑day and 5‑day shifts. A strong multi‑skilled background is essential.

Qualifications

• Multi-skilled maintenance experience in industrial manufacturing.
• Proficiency in electrical and mechanical fault-finding.
• Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical).
• Experience working in a UK manufacturing environment.
• Experience with PLCs and fault-finding using inputs/outputs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical maintenance, fault-finding and planned preventive maintenance on fully automated production machinery to maximise uptime and efficiency.
• Modify PLC programmes as required.
• Perform pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast-paced factory setting.
