Advanced Engineering in Coalville seeks an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to keep production running safely and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment within the UK. The role offers training and a clear path to Team Leader within two years, with a salary around £55k and Panama-style days and nights shifts.

The job focuses on electrical and automation maintenance, fault diagnosis, equipment upgrades, and maintaining accurate records in the CMMS.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 3 years maintenance engineering experience.
Experience in manufacturing packaging/food/FMCG preferred.
Strong understanding of safety and environmental regulations.
Willingness to drive continuous improvements.

Responsibilities

Carry out planned and emergency maintenance, focusing on electrical and automation systems.
Diagnose faults using PLC/HMI systems, alarms, instruments and electrical test equipment.
Repair electrical and control equipment including motors, sensors, safety circuits, drives, encoders and servo systems.
Support control-system upgrades and keep related documentation up to date.
Carry out routine checks and safety checks.
Keep maintenance records in the site's maintenance management system.
Support the installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of new or modified equipment.
Take part in training to develop skills across different equipment and maintenance areas.
