Job summary

BID Leamington Ltd. is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician to join our client’s team in Royal Leamington Spa. The role focuses on maintaining and improving highly automated equipment, with an electrical bias and a strong fault-finding capability.

You will work in a modern, technology-driven environment, performing preventive maintenance, upgrades, and performance analysis. Salary is £50,000 with 4 on 4 off days and nights, and opportunities for career development within a global

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related discipline).
• Previous experience within logistics, manufacturing, distribution, automation, or a similar operational environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience working with automated systems, conveyors, robotics, or warehouse technologies is advantageous.
• Knowledge of maintenance systems and engineering best practices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize engineering systems and automated equipment.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Work closely with operations, maintenance, and technical teams to ensure smooth day-to-day performance.
• Conduct root cause analysis and develop corrective actions for technical issues.
• Ensure all engineering activities comply with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Assist with project planning, equipment upgrades, and installation activities.
• Prepare technical documentation, maintenance reports, and performance data analysis.
• Support preventative maintenance programmes and reliability initiatives.
