Job summary

The Collective Network Limited in Cambridgeshire is seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer to maintain and improve automated production equipment, including robotics, conveyors and PLC-controlled machinery, in a fast-paced, highly automated environment.

The role offers up to £56,000, 4 on 4 off days and nights, overtime and a strong benefits package as the site continues to invest in people and plant. A recognised engineering qualification and PLC fault-finding experience are required.

Qualifications

• Recognised engineering qualification.
• PLC fault-finding experience.
• Background in manufacturing (food, FMCG or general manufacturing).
• Strong multi-skilled capability (electrical & mechanical).
• Proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and improving automated production equipment.
• Works with robotics and automated systems, high-speed conveyors and packaging lines.
• Fault-finding on PLC-controlled machinery (electrical & mechanical).
• Carry out preventative maintenance and reliability improvements.
