Qualifications
- A recognised qualification in Engineering.
- Understanding of PLC and SCADA systems desirable
- Proficiency in automation software and programming languages
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and efficiency
- Ability to work on your own or as part of a wider team
Responsibilities
- Complete maintenance to a high standard, logging or revisiting rectified items.
- Operate with safety in mind, risk-assessing all jobs.
- Build relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across departments.
- Monitor site performance, measuring availability and performance.
- Be proactive with timekeeping, adding value to the customer.
- Create documentation for major breakdowns using root cause analysis.
- Support site maintenance budget and repair/test equipment for future use.
- Administrative maintenance, keep CMMS up to date and complete shift reports.
