GXO Logistics, Inc. is expanding its Fashion & Apparel distribution site in Burnley.

We are seeking Engineering Assistants to maintain and support automated equipment and warehouse infrastructure, ensuring safety and efficiency in a fast-paced, technology-driven setting. You will work closely with Engineers, Operations and Control Room teams to minimize downtime and keep the site running smoothly on a 4 on/4 off 12-hour shift pattern.

Qualifications

• NVQ L1 in mechanical engineering is desirable.
• Hands-on approach with mechanical/electrical awareness.
• Strong problem-solving and fault-diagnosis skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, automated environment.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operation and maintenance of automated warehouse equipment.
• Respond to equipment issues and assist with fault identification and resolution.
• Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
