Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Burnley is seeking a hands-on maintenance technician to support the Engineering team with the operation and upkeep of our automated warehouse equipment.

You’ll respond to equipment issues, perform fault identification, and carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance to keep the distribution centre running at peak efficiency. The role offers a 4-on/4-off, 12-hour shift pattern and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance approach to equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Engineering team with daily operation and maintenance of automated warehouse equipment.
• Respond to equipment issues and assist fault identification and resolution.
• Carry out routine inspections, checks and preventative maintenance.
• Promote safe working practices and maintain high health & safety standards.
