GXO Logistics, Inc. in Burnley (BB10) is expanding its new automated distribution operation and is hiring Control Room Administrators to coordinate workflow, monitor automation, and support engineers.

The role requires staying calm under pressure, prioritising tasks, and delivering on time within a fast-paced site. You will work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern for 42 hours per week, with fixed days or nights, and a salary up to £32,000 per year plus a comprehensive benefits package including pension,

Competenze

• Previous experience within a warehouse, logistics, transport, planning or control room environment.
• Strong IT skills and confidence using warehouse management systems and operational software.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Great communication skills and ability to build relationships across all levels of the operation.

Mansioni

• Coordinate and release work through warehouse systems to meet operational priorities and deadlines.
• Monitor workflow across the operation, identifying bottlenecks before they affect performance.
• Monitor automation, conveyors, sortation equipment and control systems, escalating issues to engineering as needed.
• Maintain clear communication with operational leaders, engineers and support functions during shifts.
• Complete system reporting, shift handovers and issue logs to ensure continuity between teams.
