Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking an Automation Engineer for a family-owned specialist in advanced automation solutions based in Plymouth. You will join a small, friendly engineering team and work on bespoke systems for blue‑chip clients worldwide.

Your responsibilities include developing PLC programs, upgrading HMIs and SCADA support, and commissioning turnkey projects across the UK and abroad, with 85% office work and 15% site time.

Qualifications

• Develop PLC programs for industrial automation projects.
• Create and modify HMI screens to reflect operator workflows.
• Provide SCADA support and system integration across client sites.
