Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited in Plymouth is seeking a Controls Engineer to join a family-run specialist automation business delivering bespoke machinery worldwide. You will develop PLC programs, write HMIs, and provide SCADA support on varied projects.

The role is mainly office-based with some client-site work across the UK. A full UK driving licence is preferred; overtime is available and there is a strong package including 33 days holiday and enhanced pension.

Qualifications

• Experience with PLC programming, HMIs and SCADA systems.
• Ability to commission bespoke control solutions at client sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop PLC programs, upgrade HMIs and provide SCADA support.
• Commission bespoke systems at client sites.
• 85% office based, 15% site based work.
