Job summary

Level Zero Health is seeking an Automation Engineer to design and scale automation for next-generation biosensors. You’ll develop fixtures, rigs, and automated workflows, enabling higher throughput, reliability and data quality across R&D and production workflows.

You’ll implement software to control lab hardware, run validation and QC experiments, and collaborate with biosensing, chemistry and engineering teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Automation Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • 2+ years of relevant industry experience and strong CAD skills.
  • Experience leading automation projects involving laboratory systems and workflow optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and implement automation systems to improve sensor throughput and reliability.
  • Build fixtures, rigs and automated workflows for experiments.
  • Develop software to control lab hardware and automate data acquisition.
