Job summary

Level Zero is seeking a Scientist to design, fabricate and scale electrochemical electrode and biosensor platforms for in vivo sensing. You will drive concepts from material selection through microfabrication and validation, enabling scalable production alongside the founding team.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s or PhD with hands-on microfabrication and electrochemical experience, plus a track record in device fabrication, QC, and translational biomedical sensing.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 1-4 years of industry experience in a related discipline.
• Working knowledge of electrochemical sensing techniques and evaluation.
• Hands-on experience developing microelectrode-based sensor platforms.
• Microfabrication experience applied to electrode manufacture.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and fabricate microelectrode and microneedle-based sensor platforms, from concept through scalable production.
• Optimize electrode materials, geometries and architectures to improve sensor performance and manufacturability.
• Characterise devices using physical and electrochemical methods to validate performance and guide design iteration.
• Develop and refine fabrication processes to ensure reliable QC for biosensing applications.
