Job summary

Level Zero is hiring a Hardware Electronics Engineer to own the electronics platform for its next‑generation biosensor devices. You will translate product goals into robust architectures, taking designs from concepts through prototypes, verification and release.

You'll design mixed‑signal electronic systems, integrate optical modules, battery management, power electronics and user interface electronics, while collaborating with firmware, mechanical, optical and systems teams to ensure seamless

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of industry experience in electronic product development.
• Strong experience designing mixed-signal systems (analogue, digital, power).
• Schematic capture and multi-layer PCB design experience with Altium.
• Experience with battery-powered embedded systems and power management.
• Excellent hardware debugging using lab equipment and test benches.
• Understanding of EMC/EMI and design for reliability.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the electronics architecture for the medical device from concept to release.
• Design mixed-signal systems, integrating optical modules, battery management and drivers.
• Create schematics, multi-layer PCBs and select components for robust designs.
• Develop battery charging and low‑power system architectures for portable devices.
• Design interfaces for cameras, LEDs and user‑interface hardware.
• Prototype, debug, verify, and validate hardware with lab equipment.
• Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, optical and systems teams for integration.
• Plan electronics development activities and manage risk and milestones.
• Own electronics design documentation and design FMEAs throughout development.
• Coordinate with contract manufacturers and suppliers for prototyping and DFM/DFT.
