Job summary

Level Zero Health seeks a Hardware Electronics Engineer to own the electronics platform for next-generation biosensor devices. You’ll work with founders and cross-functional teams to translate product goals into robust architectures, guiding designs from concepts through prototypes to verification and release.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree (or equivalent) in Electronic Engineering with 3-5 years industry experience.
  • Strong experience in designing mixed-signal electronic systems (analogue, digital, power).
  • Experience with schematic capture and multi-layer PCB design (Altium or equivalent).
  • Experience selecting components and integrating modules into complete electronic systems.
  • Experience designing battery-powered embedded systems and interfaces for motors, LEDs, cameras, sensors.
  • Solid hardware debugging skills with lab equipment.
  • EMC/EMI, signal integrity, reliability design awareness.
  • Experience with contract manufacturers and PCB assembly for prototypes.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of electronics architecture from concept to prototype and release.
  • Design mixed-signal systems integrating optical modules, battery management and sensors.
  • Design schematics and multi-layer PCBs, select components and integrate modules.
  • Develop battery charging, power management and low-power architectures for portable devices.
  • Prototype hardware bring-up, debug and root-cause analysis, drive design improvements.
  • Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, optical and systems engineers for seamless integration.
  • Plan electronics development activities and manage risks toward milestones.
  • Own electronics design documentation and verification reports.
