Job summary

AES is seeking a Controls & Automation Engineer to join our Worcestershire team to write software, test and commission turnkey automated systems across diverse industries.

You should hold an engineering degree or equivalent, have experience designing controls for bespoke automation, and be familiar with Siemens TIA Portal, WinCC, Sinamics, Profinet/Profisafe, Modbus, OPC UA/DA, Ignition and Rockwell Studio. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Experience in the design of controls for bespoke automated systems.
• Familiar with Siemens TIA Portal, WinCC, Sinamics drives, Profinet/Profisafe, MODBUS, OPC UA/DA, Ignition and Rockwell platforms.
• Ability to interpret customer specifications and evaluate their products and designs.
