AES is recruiting a Controls & Automation Engineer to design, develop and commission turnkey automated systems from Worcestershire. The role involves software writing, testing and commissioning with a focus on bespoke automation projects across automotive and aerospace sectors.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent is required.
• Experience in the design of controls for bespoke automated systems.
• Familiar with Siemens TIA Portal, SIMATIC WinCC, Sinamics drives, Profinet/Profisafe networks, Modbus, OPC UA/DA, Prodiag, Ignition and Rockwell RSLogix/Studio 5000.

Responsibilities

• Write software for turnkey automated systems.
• Test and commission turnkey automation solutions.
• Interpret customer specifications and evaluate customer products and designs.
