Actemium UK seeks an experienced Software Control Systems Engineer to design, develop, commission and maintain industrial automation systems across manufacturing sectors. You will work with project teams and customers to deliver reliable solutions from concept to handover, incorporating emerging AI tools to boost efficiency.
The role requires strong PLC/SCADA expertise, platform knowledge (Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, Mitsubishi) and the ability to travel to customer sites, with a full UK
Qualifications
- Proven experience in industrial automation and control systems.
- Strong PLC programming and commissioning experience in industrial environments.
- Knowledge of multiple platforms (Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, Mitsubishi).
Responsabilités
- Develop and commission PLC, DCS, HMI and SCADA systems.
- Design and implement industrial control software and automation solutions.
- Produce software specifications, test plans and technical documentation.
- Configure and integrate PLCs, drives, instrumentation, safety and communications.
- Conduct FAT, SAT, testing and system validation activities.
- Support installation, commissioning, fault-finding and optimisation on customer sites.
- Collaborate with project teams, customers and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with customer specs, engineering standards and health & safety.
