Job summary

Methods Machine Tools is seeking an Automation Controls Engineer to design, develop, and support control systems that integrate CNC machinery with accessories and Fanuc robotic cells. This hands-on role involves programming, troubleshooting, and optimizing PLCs, HMIs, and robotic systems in a manufacturing environment.

You will work with electrical, mechanical, and automation teams to implement turnkey projects, create documentation, and ensure safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Proven experience designing, programming, and maintaining control systems (PLCs, HMIs, SCADA).
• Hands-on PLC programming experience with major platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, program, and implement control systems for automated equipment including PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA.
• Program ladder logic for CNC machines and ensure interaction with automation equipment.
• Troubleshoot integration issues between CNC machines and automation equipment; optimize performance and reliability.
