Job summary

XtalPi Inc. is seeking overseas PhD talent in Chemistry and related disciplines to join our Shanghai-based Future Chemistry Division.

This role offers a unique opportunity to combine synthetic chemistry expertise with cutting‑edge automation and AI technologies, helping shape the future of intelligent chemical research and development. You will design and execute automated synthesis plans, collaborate with AI R&D teams, upgrade platforms, and ensure data integrity, while maintaining SOPs and

Qualifications

Ph.D. in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
Strong project management and coordination skills.
Fluent in Chinese and English, with clear problem-solving abilities.
Passion for automation and intelligent technologies in chemical synthesis.

Responsibilities

Design and develop synthesis plans and complete automated synthesis delivery on schedule.
Work closely with Computational Chemistry and AI R&D teams to optimize experimental plans.
Upgrade automated synthesis platforms and enhance throughput and stability.
Prepare SOPs and experimental reports to ensure standardization and reusability of docs.
Be responsible for daily operation, maintenance, and optimization of automated synthesis systems.
Conduct project management, communicate with clients, and ensure high-quality delivery.
Identify environmental factors and hazard sources; implement required control measures.
