Job summary

XtalPi is seeking overseas PhD talent in Chemistry and related disciplines to join our Shanghai-based Future Chemistry Division. This role combines synthetic chemistry expertise with cutting-edge automation and AI technologies, helping shape the future of intelligent chemical research and development.

As part of a multinational team, you will design synthesis plans, optimize automated platforms, and collaborate with AI R&D to implement data-driven workflows while ensuring high quality and timely

Qualifications

Ph.D. degree in Chemistry or related field with independent synthesis design skills.
Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
Fluent in English and Chinese; adaptable to fast-paced R&D environments.
Interest in automation and AI-enabled chemical synthesis.

Responsibilities

Design and develop synthesis plans for automated delivery on schedule.
Work with AI/R&D teams to optimize experimental plans.
Contribute to platform upgrades to improve throughput and stability.
Prepare SOPs and experimental reports for standardization.
Manage daily operation of automated synthesis systems and data integrity.
Coordinate with clients and maintain high-quality project delivery.
Identify environmental factors and implement control measures.
