Job summary

Adecco is seeking a reliable Production Operative to join a Hull-area production team. 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, permanent contract, location HU2. A strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential to meet daily production targets and quality standards.

You will operate machinery, assist with setup, perform basic maintenance, and work safely with pallet trucks within a team-oriented environment. Generous training and progression opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in production/manufacturing or machine operating.
• Able to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Good literacy and numeracy.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Basic IT skills.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and routine maintenance.
• Reliable, punctual and organised.
• Willing to learn and develop new skills.
• Physically capable of manual handling.
• Willingness to work shifts when required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a range of production machinery within a manufacturing environment.
• Set up and run machinery to meet production requirements.
• Carry out basic machine maintenance and equipment checks.
• Maintain high standards of quality control and accuracy.
• Use pallet trucks and other material handling equipment safely.
• Work effectively as part of a team to achieve production targets.
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Assist with other production-related duties as required.
