Job summary

Halfords Autocentre is looking for a strong leader to run our Basingstoke centre. You will manage a team of around 11, delivering first-class customer service and driving profitability from day to day.

You will coach technicians and advisers, optimise scheduling, and push to exceed sales targets while complying with health and safety and quality standards. This role is full-time, on-site in Basingstoke, with an uncapped bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Track record of leading teams and delivering service excellence.
• Accountable for day-to-day centre operations, profit and loss.
• Proven ability to coach and train colleagues in real time.
• Experience delivering against sales targets and improving margins.
• Ensuring health, safety and quality compliance across the centre.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Centre team of around 11 including technicians and customer service staff.
• Optimise scheduling to maximize capacity and meet customer demand.
• Drive centre performance, monitor metrics and deliver against sales targets.
• Provide coaching and training to colleagues to improve skills and outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality standards.
