Job summary

Halfords is seeking an Assistant Manager in Wick to support the Centre Manager in driving profitability and delivering excellent customer service. The role blends hands-on workshop collaboration with leadership of the team in a busy Autocentre environment.

You’ll have experience in a similar setting, hold relevant light vehicle maintenance qualifications, and bring a proactive, customer-focused approach to daily operations.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction through effective management and leadership.
• Experience in coaching, training, and developing colleagues in the moment.
• Strong technical/mechanical knowledge, ideally Level 2/3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assist Centre Manager with daily sales and customer service.
• Divide time between workshop with technicians and management duties.
