Job summary

Reeson Education is seeking an experienced 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to provide support at Redbridge Primary School. This full-time role offers a competitive daily rate and is designed for a resilient individual with experience in assisting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

The ideal candidate will have a degree from a reputable university and a strong understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The position is long-term until July 2026, with an ASAP start.

We are looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant with extensive knowledge of SEMH to support a child with ASD in a 1:1 setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored 1:1 support to a KS1 child with ASD.
• Deliver a range of interventions.
• Attend trial days in the first week back after half‑term.
• Participate in in‑house training provided to all support staff.

Qualifications:

• Degree graduate from a reputable university.
• Experience supporting children with SEN, specifically ASD.
• Strong understanding of SEN and SEMH.
• Resilient, committed, passionate, playful, innovative and focused.
