Qualifications

• Educated to degree level.
• Fully Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience working with autistic pupils.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and speech.
• Experience guiding and supporting Teaching Assistants.
• Knowledge of inclusive, pupil-focused planning.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for learning and achievement of all pupils in the class.
• Collaborate with parents, staff and external agencies to support pupils.
• Supervise and deploy Teaching Assistants in the class.
• Coordinate a subject or school area as required.
• Develop and monitor curriculum with School Improvement Plan input.
• Adhere to safeguarding and professional standards.
