Job summary

Sudbury Primary School is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support children, including those with SEN and autism, within a caring, diverse team. You will help plan for, teach, and assess individual children in line with their EHCPs, liaising with SENDCo and therapists to implement an autism-focused curriculum.

The role requires excellent English and Maths, strong communication with parents and colleagues, and a calm, proactive approach in a busy school environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with SEN children, especially autism and complex needs.
• Ability to liaise with SENDCo, Speech & Language and Occupational Therapists and other agencies.
• Strong English and Maths skills.
• Excellent communication with parents, pupils and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Support learning and assessment for individual children in line with their EHCP.
• Plan for, teach and assess individual children effectively.
