Job summary

Autism East Midlands in Worksop is seeking a dedicated Autism Support Worker to help autistic adults with activities they enjoy and to build independent living skills. No prior experience required; full training is provided and the right attitude is valued.

You'll work on a rolling rota with shifts including early, late, sleep-ins, weekends and bank holidays across Nottinghamshire. The role offers a supportive environment, a comprehensive induction, and opportunities to develop skills in health

Qualifications

No experience is necessary; full training is given.
Right attitude and values, with willingness to develop skills.
Experience in care roles or NHS/healthcare may suit you too.

Responsibilities

Support autistic people with activities they enjoy and encourage independent living skills.
Provide holistic support including personal care and managing anxieties.
Assist with medication administration.
Support integration into the local community.
Work on a rolling rota with early, late, sleep-ins, weekends and bank holidays.
Full training provided and a positive attitude is valued.
