Autism East Midlands is looking for an Autism Support Worker to help improve lives in the Nottinghamshire area. You will support autistic people with activities they enjoy, encourage independent living skills, and provide holistic care including personal care and community integration.

No prior experience is required as full training is provided; the role offers full-time, part-time, and casual relief positions on a rolling rota, with diverse shifts and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• No experience is necessary; full training is provided.
• You will be supporting autistic people with activities they enjoy and encouraging independent living skills.
• Rolling rota with a variety of shifts: early, lates, sleep-ins, weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support autistic people with activities they enjoy and encourage independence.
• Provide holistic support including personal care, medication administration, and managing anxieties or distressing behaviour.
• Assist with integration into the local community and daily living tasks.
• Follow a rolling rota and flexible shift patterns.
