Job summary

Autism East Midlands is seeking an Autism Support Worker to help autistic people engage in daily activities and develop independent living skills. No experience is required as full training is provided, and DBS checks are covered. Roles include full-time, part-time and casual relief, commuting from the Nottinghamshire area.

We operate a 24/7 service with a rolling rota, offering shifts such as early, late, sleep-ins, weekends and bank holidays. Sponsorship cannot be offered.

Responsibilities

• Support autistic people with activities and encourage independent living skills.
• Provide holistic support including personal care, medication administration, and integration into the local community.
• Manage anxieties and respond to distressing behaviours.
• Work a rolling rota with shifts including early, lates, sleep-ins, weekends and bank holidays.
