Job summary

Autism East Midlands is seeking an Autism Support Worker in the Nottingham area. You will support autistic individuals with activities they enjoy, encourage independent living, and provide holistic care including personal care and medication administration.

No experience is required as full training is provided; we welcome applicants who share our values and are ready to develop their skills. Various shifts and a rolling rota are available across Nottingham and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; full training will be provided.
• We are looking for someone with the right attitude, who shares our values and is keen to develop their skills.
• Experience in support work, care, NHS or health/social care is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support autistic individuals with activities they enjoy and promote independent living skills.
• Provide holistic support including personal care and medication administration.
• Assist with community integration and managing anxieties or distressing behaviours.
