Job summary

Autism East Midlands is hiring an Autism Support Worker to assist autistic individuals with daily activities and independent living skills. No experience is required as full training is provided.

You will support a range of tasks from personal care to community integration, and you’ll work within a 24/7 rolling rota including early/late shifts, sleep-ins, weekends and holidays. The role emphasises safeguarding, confidentiality, and collaborative teamwork.

Qualifications

• No experience required; full training provided.
• Ability to support adults with autism in daily activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic support including personal care and community integration.
• Support with daily activities and manage anxieties.
• Maintain records and communicate with families and care team.
• Adhere to safeguarding, GDPR, and care standards.
• Attend training and complete mandatory certifications.
