Job summary

Autism Initiatives in Northern Ireland is seeking dedicated Support Workers to join our team. You will work alongside autistic individuals, helping them gain independence in daily living, education, work and leisure activities, while following person-centred plans.

We provide extensive benefits, training, and an inclusive environment; interviews are held in person at our head office. The role requires flexibility and a commitment to equality and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Experience in care/support roles or volunteering is preferred.
• Able to work on a rota including weekends and unsocial hours.
• NISCC registration or applying to register on appointment.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals to develop independence in daily living.
• Assist access to work, education and leisure activities.
• Provide person-centred care and support in line with organisational values.
